English: Please turn on the light.
Japanese: でんきをつけてください。
Reading: Denki o tsukete kudasai.

SAY TURN OFF THE LIGHT IN JAPANESE
English: Please turn off the light.
Japanese: でんきをけしてください。
Reading: Denki o keshite kudasai.

For Air-conditioner エアコン (Eakon), TV テレビ (Terebi) etc. just replace the word Denki.

SAY OPEN THE DOOR IN JAPANESE
English: Please open the door.
Japanese: ドアをあけてください。
Reading: Doa o akete kudasai.

SAY CLOSE THE DOOR IN JAPANESE
English: Please close the door.
Japanese: ドアをしめてください。
Reading: Doa o shimete kudasai.

For Window まど (Mado), just replace the word Doa.
